When I first met Kristen, my personal habits were very embarrassing and unhealthy to say the least. I have a very intense job that requires physical exercise all day long as well a clear and focused mind, and because my habits were so bad, I was having a hard time keeping up. My goal when meeting with Kristen was to gain more energy, lose excess weight, and create a healthier, happier state of mind.
Kristen is extremely knowledgeable in regards to the health and fitness of the human body. She is so in tune with the human body, she was able to observe things about my body I wasn’t even in tune with. Kristen’s expertise and keen observations helped her to mold my own individual game plan based on my body and its needs. Her program involved simple heart rate workouts with a healthier, cleaner eating routine. I could see with my own eyes this lifestyle was keeping Kristen balanced. Once I received the information it was up to me, and me alone, to listen to her advice and follow through with my own game plan.
I committed myself to changing my lifestyle and I followed Kristen’s program to a tee. The first week was the biggest challenge. I got a rash, headaches, stomachaches, and I was so sore from using muscles I hadn’t used in years. Despite the pain, I did not give up. I knew it had to get worse before it could get better. In two weeks, I had lost all the excess weight and my energy levels skyrocketed. As the days go by, my overall life continues to get better. I have much more patience and focus when I am working than I thought I was capable, I sleep better at night, my overall mood feels stable and happy, and I have more confident in my body and my mind. I cannot imagine going back to my old lifestyle now that I have made this huge transition. I feel so wonderful these days and it motivates me to refrain from going back to my old habits.
Kristen’s information, training, and encouragement helped me to turn over a new leaf and change my life for the better. Although it is up to me to do the hard work, it is because of Kristen that I now have the tools that it takes to live a healthier, happier life. Kristen is an astute Personal Trainer whose experience, knowledge, and insight can transform anyone’s life. I would refer Kristen to anyone who wants to improve his or her health and fitness.
LISA ROBERTS
I’m 54, and met Kristen in December 2013 at CrossFit WestCo, where she was the owner and a coach. While I’ve always exercised, I had not pushed myself too hard for the past 4-5 years, and so after a hard workout, I was having some joint pain, muscles aches and “tweaks”.
My old coping method was to just tough it out, stretch, and take a couple ibuprofen. Imagine my surprise when I mentioned (read that whined about) a sore spot to Kristen, and she said “I can help you with that”! My primary issue was my right hip, and (after a mountain bike crash), my right shoulder/upper arm. Kristen was able to muscle test me, and immediately identify the problem. After just one of her self-fix sessions, the decrease in my “pinchy/ouchy hip” was absolutely amazing (and, to be honest, I was skeptical the first time!). With a few simple movements, she taught me how to fix myself and even recommended a schedule for how often I should do the self-fixes. My husband also went to Kristen, with great success, and so we bought the Quick Self Fix book Kristen recommended by Dr. Clay, and refer to it multiple times a week, if not daily.
As the “icing on the cake”, if you will, for those times when a nagging twinge or pain just won’t lessen, I’ve gone to Kristen for assisted yoga stretching. Again, she identifies muscle weaknesses, usually has me stretch or walk to observe my movement, and starts stretching and working on the sore area until I feel relief. I cannot emphasize enough the benefits I’ve felt from Kristen’s work. She believes in helping your body help itself, and has a tried and true methodology to make that happen. I feel better than I have in 10 years, and am getting stronger by the day.
THOMAS LAMBERT
This redhead offers a rare modality of skills and fixes to make you feel better! Kristen can put you into stretches that are not possible unassisted, and while some of them may be uncomfortable, I found that I was never sore the next day and always felt free and loose. In the past three years she has taught me many fixes and stretches to do at home and the combination of everything kept me out of the chiropractor's office and able to continue to maintain my extremely active lifestyle. I highly recommend Kristen!

Kristen has helped me continue with my active lifestyle by improving my mobility, flexibility, and overall skeletal health. She reduced my recovery time in half from two major injuries, a hamstring pull and a shoulder separation. Its holistic healing without pain relievers or chiropractors!
KEVIN MILLER
I was a college athlete that let myself become stagnant after college. My interest in a more fit lifestyle led me to CrossFit. That interest soon turned into a desire and I was successful enough to qualify for regionals multiple times as both an individual and on teams. I met Kristen while training that first year we qualified. I always had nagging injuries from college, as well as the normal wear and tear that comes with training to be a competitive athlete. With Kristen’s help I was able to overcome a lot of those injuries new and old. I was amazed at the muscle testing and the way she was able to target specific areas the active muscle groups that were weak and shut off. With the gained experience from her teaching the quick fixes I am able to correct myself when an area is aggravated. Without her mobility, muscle testing, and massage we would not have been able to consistently train through all of the aches and pains. We couldn’t have done it without her.
MAEVE GOODBODY
Kristen is a phenomenal trainer who is extremely knowledgeable, patient and motivating. I was coached by Kristen at Crossfit WestCo for about two years, and during that time made more progress with my fitness than I ever had in my life. Crossfit is notorious for causing sports injuries, but whenever Kristen coached a work out I felt pushed and exhausted for sure, but also safe! She is a stickler for good form and has a myriad of great ways to teach what she is looking for. If one explanation isn't working for you, she easily changes things up and conveys the information in a different way. On top of all her wisdom, Kristen is just the sweetest and is so much fun to be around. She is in unbelievable shape, but never makes you feel inferior or insecure and always just starts where you are. I can't recommend her highly enough for fitness coaching!
TANYA GARRETT
I first met Kristen in 2014 when I decided to try CrossFit where she was the owner/coach. I have been active all my life growing up playing multiple sports including soccer, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, running, and competing in triathlons. During CrossFit, multiple coaches observed how some of my functional movements were limited. I decided to ask Kristen for help. She performed subtle muscle testing to determine what areas were weak, then provided fixes to correct the problems. The amazing consequence of the fixes is the immediate feedback you receive when Kristen performs the same subtle muscle test after the fix. You can feel for yourself the changes! Then she will show you how to perform them yourself so you can maintain that level of mobility on a daily basis.
Kristen also performed subtle muscle testing on my two daughters, ages 8 and 10, when I asked her if their complaints about knee problems from being active and playing soccer could be an issue. Not only did she identify small muscle weaknesses, but she showed them how to do the fixes. My girls have rarely complained about their knees since Kristen showed them how to fix their problems. When they do complain, it is not unusual to have them stop where they are and perform the fixes themselves!
Kristen has also been a part of helping me develop a healthier diet. I have gravitated towards a flexitarian diet, and thought I was eating fairly well. She provided me with recommendations and options from a list of foods to help me develop meal plans that make eating clean extremely easy! I would encourage anyone who wants to feel better, have more energy, and improve their athletic performance to seek out Kristen regarding lifestyle changes related to healthier eating habits. Her encouragement, knowledge, and willingness to work with you are phenomenal!
Kristen is so well-rounded that I sought her help with my ongoing lack of mobility and flexibility, especially through my back and shoulder girdle. If I had to pick just one of her many talents, my favorite is her assisted yoga stretching with Thai massage. I really miss her working on my back and shoulders to improve my posture. Her ability to zero in on stretching ligaments, tendons, and fascia by using her extensive database of knowledge and first-hand experience increased my daily level of comfort. I was able to breathe easier, execute daily movements better, and felt my body was finally performing at its maximum potential.

Kristen is an amazing woman and mentor. I met her in 2013 as an owner and coach of Crossfit Westco in Grand Junction, Colorado. I am 54 and have worked out most of my life, but never to the level she has trained and encouraged me! Her knowledge of the human body’s abilities and modifications because of past injuries, have helped me daily. She taught me “quick fixes” that I can perform myself to feel more mobile and less sore. She is a wealth of information and truly a remarkable woman!
LAUREN VAN ROEKEL
I met Kristen at a point in my life where I was desperate for change. I was unhappy and uncomfortable in my own skin. I hadn't committed to a consistent training program since high school sports. I began training with Kristen and started to see my capabilities expanding more than I ever thought possible. However, with my increased activity and growth I also experienced injuries. Kristen was able to pin point the issues through muscle tests, and help me work through the injuries with stretching, Assisted Yoga Stretching from Thai Massage, and passing on knowledge of self fixes. While some of the injuries lingered it became clear that my diet was directly affecting my recovery time. Kristen asked me to begin keeping a food journal. While I thought I was eating healthy Kristen found many areas of improvement. She could explain why my current food choices were causing injuries or causing me to plateau. Kristen set up a food plan for me that would assist me in achieving my goals, and she taught me how to eat clean. Kristen's knowledge and insights and her ability to convey that knowledge is top notch. I can't recommend anyone more highly than I recommend Kristen.
DAVID ZAKIN
Simply put, Kristen Tucker is a remarkable trainer. She is knowledgeable, dedicated and loyal. She can be tough, but equally empathetic. She understands the difficulty some people, me included, have in getting their health and body issues under control. So she takes control and provides a consistent and workable program that is both realistic and not boring. Kristen was even able to adjust my routines to my physical limitations of post heart surgery and a herniated disc. My wife and I (we were in our early mid 50’s) worked with her for several years. During that time my wife, who has always been thin, tightened up, sculpted her body and made our 20 year old daughters jealous. I was even more of a success. I went from 283 pounds to 168. Then began to add muscle and settled in at 178-180. Lost over 20 inches and felt and looked better than I had in 30 years. Proud of the “guns” and “six pack” that had been in hiding for decades. While we do not work out with Kristen any longer as she has relocated west, we would be the first in line if she was to ever return to Atlanta. From her body cleanse to her customized workouts she is extraordinary.
CONNOR CULVER
I have been fortunate enough to have Kristen work on my injuries, and use muscle testing and quick fixes to make a huge difference in how I feel, as well as have Kristen as an outstanding coach at Crossfit Westco. I have a very lengthy health history, and Kristen listened and spent a large amount of her time to help me feel much better. Kristen has compassion, and a loving heart incomparable to any other. As a coach she has passion that is contagious. She believes in each and every athlete, and makes sure they are set up for success. In the gym, she has instilled good form as habit, and has spent countless hours helping me with weaknesses and helping me improve. I highly recommend Kristen!

As a former professional athlete I have spent a countless amount of hours with coaches and trainers working to perfect my craft. I would like to think I have a good idea what makes a good coach or trainer. That being said, I rank Kristen as one of the best I've had the privilege of working with! Her knowledge of the human body and how to get the most out of every muscle is flat out impressive, and not only that, but she can articulate her knowledge in such a way that a guy like me can understand. Her passion for fitness is undeniable and contagious. She practices what she preaches and is perfectly capable of demonstrating, with ease, anything she asks you to do! My only regret is that I didn't meet her while I was still playing baseball. Whoever gets the privilege of being trained by her should consider themselves very lucky!
